Balzan FC continued with their transfer activity with the signing of Serbian goalkeeper Vukasin Vranes.
The towering Vranes has arrived in Malta this week and has agreed terms to put pen to paper on a one-year contract.
Vranes is a product of OFK Belgrade and in fact the 24-year-old came through the club’s academy before making it into the senior team.
Last season, Vranes amassed ten appearances with OFK Belgrade in the Serbian second-tier won the award of the best goalkeeper in the division.
Vranes has always been regarded as a talented goalkeeper and during his time in the club’s academy he was followed by French side St Etienne.
Prior to his arrival in Malta, Vranes completed his COVID-19 quarantine in Slovenia.
