The 26th meeting of the season, made up of ten races all for trotters was held on Sunday evening at the Marsa Racetrack.
The major event was a class Premier race and which was won by Swedish Elliot Coger under the guidance of Marco Refalo.
Eleven trotters lined up for the class Premier event. The early leader Digital Performer (Ludvic Ghigo) was outsmarted by the favourite Elliot Coger (Marco Refalo) midway through the final straight. Elliot Coger gained its first win in Malta by half length from Eagle B Butcher (Michael Sultana).
Digital Performer had to settle for third place from G.G.’s Magic Dream (Rodney Gatt).
