Sta Lucia have announced the signing of Brazilian defender Victor Luiz.
The 22-year-old left back has put pen to paper on a one-year contract and is set to start pre-season training with coach Oliver Spiteri.
Luiz is an interesting talent having started his career with Brazilian top club Cruzeiro where he played with their B side before being promoted to the first team.
In 2019 he made his first move to European football when he joined Finnish club HJK Helsinki but after six months he returned home to Cruzeiro.
During his career, Luiz has also represented Brazil at U-20 level.
