Malta international Aaron Falzon joins his brother Tevin as a professional player in Europe after getting his first contract out of college and signing for Etoile Angers.
The announcement made by his management team Flex Basketball on Monday confirms the 24-year-old’s move from the NCAA to the French National 1 league.

The former Northwester and Quinnipac forward was part of the Malta side which won gold in the 2018 FIBA European Championship for Small Countries in San Marino. During the torunament, Falzon had grabbed double digits in all games.
Despite having racked impressive numbers throughout his junior career, these COVID-19 impacted times have made it tough for players to get the trust of new teams. However, 6’8 Falzon now joins a side who placed first in last season’s Group A with an impressive 20-6 record after becoming a merged Angers team back in 2017.
