00.17 Fikayo Tomori loan from Chelsea to West Ham has broken down.

Tomori decided he didn’t want to go to West Ham at 23:50 tonight. Everything had been agreed between clubs and agents including “huge” loan fee but the player made a last minute U-turn.

The move is off. 

00.15 Everton have completed the signing of goalkeeper Robin Olsen on a season-long loan from Roma.

00.11 Lucas Torreira joins Atletico Madrid on loan.

00.01 Atletico Madrid confirm Thomas Partey’s release clause has been activated by Arsenal and his contract at the club has been terminated. 

23.52 Eric Garcia will be staying at Man. City after Barcelona failed to meet their valuation for the central defender.

He’ll be available to join on a free next summer.

23.50 Chelsea and West Ham in talks for late loan deal for centre back Fikayo Tomori.

23.45 Fulham have announced the loan signing of centre-back Joachim Andersen from Lyon.

After agreeing his loan move, Andersen said: “I’m really happy to make this move. I’m looking forward to playing in the Premier League and playing for a nice club like Fulham.

“It’s a league I’ve been following since I was a child and it’s a big, big dream to play in the Premier League, so I’m looking forward to it.”

23.45 Leeds United have completed the signing of Rennes winger Raphinha, subject to international clearance.

 The 23-year-old has moved to Elland Road for an undisclosed fee after signing a four-year deal through to the summer of 2024.

23.40 Theo Walcott has joined Southampton on loan for the rest of the 2020/21 season from Everton.

23.35 Chelsea and Fulham have agreed a loan deal for Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

23.30 Rangers have completed the signing of South African internationalist Bongani Zungu on-loan until the end of the season, with an option to make the deal permanent next summer.

23.15 Jean-Clair Todibo has joined Benfica on loan from Barcelona. 

The French centre-back had earlier been a target for Fulham during the summer window.

Manchester United have announced the signing of Edinson Cavani!

23.05 It’s not been a happy time for Islam Slimani at Leicester. But it may be close to coming to an end – the Algerian forward is close to joining Ligue 1 side Lyon.

23.00 Crystal Palace are expected to offer a short-term deal to free agent Nathaniel Clyne, who has been training with his boyhood club for a number of weeks.

22.55 Celtic have announced the loan signing of Milan’s Diego Laxalt.

The 27-year-old left-sided player, who has been capped 24 times by his country, has been with the Italian giants since joining from Genoa in 2018.

Sky Sports News understands the clubs were not able to agree on a fee for an option-to-buy clause.

22.50 Brighton are closing in on the signings of midfielder Jakub Moder from Lech Poznan and full-back Michal Karbownik from Legia Warsaw.

Both players have passed medicals.

The fee for 21-year-old Moder is believed to be £6million and he’ll be loaned back to Lech Poznan.

Karbownik is set to join Brighton for a fee of around £3million and will be loaned back to Legia.

22.45 Manchester United have reached agreement with Atalanta for the future transfer of Amad Diallo, who will join the club in January.

The fee is €21m, plus €20m in add-ons.

22.30 Theo Walcott has completed his medical at Southampton. They’re now sorting the paperwork out ahead of the midnight deadline.

21.45 Everton in advanced talks over a deal for Roma goalkeeper Robin Olsen.

21.30 QPR have completed the signing of Benfica forward Chris Willock.

The 22-year-old – brother of Arsenal’s Joe Willock – will join on a three-year deal for around £750,000.

21.15 Roma have completed the signing of Chris Smalling on a three-year deal. The deal is worth £18m.

21.00 Arsenal have triggered the £45m release clause for Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey.

20.45 Midfielder Jack Wilshere to have West Ham contract terminated by mutual consent.

The 28-year-old joined the club in 2018 but ankle and groin injuries have hampered his fitness.

Wilshere has played 599 minutes in 16 Premier League appearances – 19 in all competitions. 

20.40 Leeds United target Michael Cuisance has moved from Bayern Munich to Olympique Marseille on a season-long loan.

20.35 Leicester City winger Rachid Ghezzal has completed a season-long loan move to Besiktas.

20.10 It looks like Roma have managed to sign Chris Smalling from Manchester United.

19.56 Nikola Kalinic has joined Verona from Atletico Madrid on a permanent deal. the Gialloblu have also sold Lubomir Tupta to Ascoli on loan with option to buy.

19.55 Roma are facing a race against time to re-sign Chris Smalling as they are close to agree a deal late on with Manchester United, according to Sky in Italy.

The Italian transfer window closes soon and the Serie A club’s chiefs are confident to complete the deal with the last details yet to be ironed out.

It initially looked like Roma would be priced out of a move for the defender.

19.50 Porto are trying to secure a season-long loan deal for West Ham winger Felipe Anderson.

It’s worth noting that the deal doesn’t have to be completed today as the Portuguese window doesn’t close for another three weeks.

19.45 According to Sky Sport, Inter will keep hold of Radja Nainggolan as the club didn’t reach an agreement with Cagliari.

The defender has signed a four-year contract at Old Trafford, with an option to extend for a further year.

Tottenham are in talks to sign Joe Rodon from Swansea City.

One source has told Sky Sport an £18m deal is close to being agreed between the two clubs.

18.50 Sampdoria have reportedly reached an agreement with Swedish goalkeeper Oscar Linner, who arrives from Arminia Bielefeld.

United are unlikely to pursue a deal at this stage.

Watford value Sarr at £50m and would prefer a sale – or at least a loan with an obligation.

Premier League clubs have until October 16 to sign players from the EFL, but clubs have to submit their squads for European competition tomorrow.

18.20 Federico Chiesa has officially completed his move to Juventus from Fiorentina.

Neither the Old Lady or La Viola have yet announced the deal but the website of Lega Serie A shows that the Black-and-White have registered the player’s contract, which means the deal is closed.

According to Sky Sport, the Italy winger joins Juventus on loan with option to buy, the total cost of his acquisition is €50m.

The two clubs will announce the figures of the deal in the coming minutes.

18.15 Juventus defender Mattia De Sciglio has joined French club Lyon on loan, the Italian club said on Monday. 

The 27-year-old has played for Italy 39 times but had limited playing time for the Italian champions since his arrival from AC Milan in 2017.

“After three years, 62 appearances, three Scudetti, an Italian Cup and an Italian Super Cup won, it’s time to say goodbye to Mattia De Sciglio,” Juventus said on their website.

18.00 Roma winger Justin Kluivert will continue the season in Germany after he agreed to join RB Leipzig on loan.

17.50 More news from Bayern Munich as they confirm the signing of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

The 31-year-old striker, who last played for Paris Saint-Germain, has signed a contract until June 30, 2021.

17.45 Bayern Munich have confirmed the return of Douglas Costa from Juventus on a season-long loan deal.

17.00 Federico Bonazzoli seems set for a move to Torino, as Sky Sport Italia confirms Sampdoria have agreed to let the forward leave.

16.45 Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic is attracting interest from Werder Bremen. 

The Serbian, whose two Carabao Cup appearances this season were his first for the club since December 2017, has spent the last two campaigns on loan at Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin.

16.30 Leicester winger Rachid Ghezzal is in Istanbul undergoing a medical ahead of a season-long loan at Besiktas.

Ghezzal has made just 23 appearances last season and with only 19 minutes under his belt for current boss Brendan Rodgers, it appears his future lies away from the King Power Stadium.

Frank Lampard is still looking to streamline his squad and with Ben Chilwell and Marcos Alonso vying for the left-back position, Emerson is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.

15.45 Udinese have reportedly reached an agreement with Watford  and will bring Gerard Deulofeu back to Serie A.

The winger has been linked with a return to Italy, where he spent six months on loan at Milan in 2017.

Fiorentina seemed like a possible destination for the former Barcelona youngster, but Sky Sport Italia reveals the 26-year-old is on the verge of signing with Udinese.

15.30 Ajax are on the verge of signing former Everton midfielder Davy Klaassen, according to Telegraaf.

Klaassen is set to return to Ajax, after a £10m fee was agreed with Werder Bremen for the Netherlands international.

14.30 Arsenal are still planning to bring in another midfielder and are still targeting Thomas Partey, of Atletico Madrid.

The Spanish giants are determined to accept anything less than £45 million, which is the release clause for the player.

Arsenal are hoping to free up wages and space in the squad by releasing players.

Lucas Torreira is in Madrid finalising a loan move to Atletico, while Matteo Guendouzi is close to a loan move to Hertha Berlin.

14.15 Federico Chiesa is on the verge of joining Juventus on loan from Fiorentina.

Juventus have an obligation to buy the Italian international for 50 million euros.

Former Napoli striker Jose Callejon is set to replace Chiesa at Fiorentina.

13.45 Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has reportedly accepted a move on loan to Milan, who must reach an agreement with the Blues over the German’s salary.

Tuttosport reveals the former Roma defender would be happy to return to Italy, where he spent two seasons between 2015 and 2017.

Rudiger, who arrived at Roma from VfB Stuttgart in August 2015, has spent the last three seasons with the Blues in England and earns €5m a season in London

13.30 It’s a busy day at Manchester United as the English club are in advanced talks to sign Amad Traore, according to Fabrizio Romano and Gianluca Di Marzio.

13.15 Manchester United defender Chris Smalling has reportedly booked a private flight, prepared to quickly complete a move to Roma tonight.

Il Corriere dello Sport reveals the former England international prepares for a return to the Italian capital and waits for news on the negotiation between the Giallorossi and the Red Devils.

His agent James Featherstone has reportedly arrived in the Italian capital this morning and has arranged for Smalling to travel as soon as the two clubs untie the knot blocking the operation.

13.00 Arsenal are set to let go a couple of players on deadline day on Monday.

Midfielder Matteo Guendouzi close to joining Hertha Berlin on loan. Guendouzi not featured for Arsenal since defeat to Brighton in June.

Lucas Torreira is close to loan move to Atletico Madrid. He’s been in Madrid having a medical.

12.00 He may be set for a move to Juventus but Fiorentina will reportedly renew the contract of Federico Chiesa this morning before he can move on a two-year loan to the Italian champions.

The Italy international is set to become a Bianconero but the player must first sign a new contract at the Artemio Franchi.

The Viola want to secure their interests after having reached a complex agreement for the permanent sale of the winger.  

11.45 While Matteo Darmian’s transfer to Inter is confirmed by the Serie A giants, there is not going to be a move for Emerson Palmier from Chelsea to Juventus according to Fabrizio Romano.

11.35 Ousmane Dembele has been seen as a strong alternative for Jadon Sancho at Manchester United.

Howevever, according to Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague the move is unlikely to be made on Monday.

11.30 French champions Paris Saint-Germain on Monday announced the loan signing of Danilo Pereira from Porto.

The 29-year-old midfielder, who has won 39 caps for Portugal, has signed until June 30, 2021, with an option to buy.

Pereira made 202 appearances for Porto, scoring 19 goals and winning the Portuguese league twice (2018 and 2020), the Portuguese Supercup (2018) and the League Cup (2020).

“It’s a new challenge for me, and to be part of Paris Saint-Germain fits my ambitions,” Pereira said.

11.20 While the future of Dele Alli is still up in the air, there is one player who is heading out of Tottenham.

In fact, Hoffenheim have signed Ryan Sessegnon on loan from Tottenham.

11.10 Inter have signed Matteo Darmian on loan from Parma.

The Lega Serie A have officially announced the former Torino full-back has completed his move from the Gialloblu.

The Nerazzurri have registered the contract and Serie A confirms he moves on loan from Parma.

Darmian, who returned to Italy after four years at Manchester United in the Premier League, officially reunites with former Italy coach Antonio Conte at San Siro.

11.00 Southampton are in talks over the signing of Theo Walcott, reports in Britain said.

“It would be a potential loan deal and that would be really interesting as of course he started his career here in the Saints academy back in the year 2000,” Sky Sports is reporting.

“He stayed there for six years before joining Arsenal. In his only season in the senior team, he made 21 appearances and scored four goals.”

10.45 Arsenal are keen to bring in a midfielder before the transfer window shuts and they have been chasing the signature of Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.

10.30 Inter have reportedly started discussing a contract extension with Lautaro Martinez and want to include an anti-Juventus clause in the bumper new deal.

Reports claim the Nerazzurri are starting the week by opening talks with the Argentine 22-year-old, who’s current contract expires in June 2023.

Lautaro, who has scored three goals in three games so far this term, had been linked with a move to Barcelona towards the end of last season, but the Blaugrana never triggered the buy-out clause before it expired on July 7, 2020.

The outlet reveals a scheduled meeting in the next days to file the details for an extension until June 2025.

10.15 Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has the latest on Tottenham’s pursuit of Milan Skriniar.

10.15 Ben Godfrey has signed for Everton from Norwich City for £20m, penning a five-year deal until the end of June 2025.

The 22-year-old central defender, broadly regarded as one of England’s brightest prospects, captained England U-21’s on his full debut in September 2019 and was an integral part of Norwich’s Championship title-winning campaign in 2018/19.

10.00 German and Italian reports claim Douglas Costa is leaving Juventus for a return to Bayern Munich on loan, again creating room for Federico Chiesa.

Reports claimed on Sunday evening a deal has been struck for the Brazilian to go back to his old club.

It is a dry loan, so with no option to buy, but Bayern will cover the Douglas Costa salary and likely give a small figure to Juve for the loan period.

9.55 Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has warned midfielder Dele Alli it will be difficult for him to play in the first team because of the number of quality attacking players he has in his squad.

09.45 Memphis Depay has agreed personal terms with Barcelona and could seal a move today, according to Lyon’s sporting director Juninho Pernambucano. 

The Dutchman is expected to seal his move to Barcelona if they sell Ousmane Dembele, with Manchester United interested in the winger.

09.35 Jadon Sancho’s proposed transfer move to Manchester United has dominated the transfer gossip during the past few months.

Borussia Dortmund have made it clear that the player is not for sale despite Manchester United’s persistence in tabling offers for the players.

09.25 Parma have announced the permanent signing of Valentin Mihaila from CS Universita Craiova.

09.20 Paris Saint-Germain have signed Italy international Moise Kean on loan from Premier League club Everton, the French champions announced on Sunday.

In a statement, PSG said Kean had arrived on a loan deal until June 30 next year which has no option to buy.

“I am delighted to join such an ambitious club with such a strong reputation in my country,” striker Kean told the club’s website.

“I look forward to playing alongside some of the best players in the world.”

09.15 More news from the Italian Serie A as Milan are currently in talks to sign Antonio Rudiger on loan from Chelsea.

09.10 Some major news coming from Italy overnight as Federico Chiesa will have his Juventus medical on Monday after a deal was struck with Fiorentina for a complex loan plus obligation to buy format.

According to Italian media, the final details were resolved on Sunday evening and the medical has been booked for Monday morning.

The transfer deadline in Italy is 20.00 on Monday.

It is set to be a loan for two years, at a cost of €2m for the first season and €8m for the second.

09.05 Sky in Italy are reporting that Celtic are close to agreeing a loan deal for Milan left-back Diego Laxalt. 

The 27-year-old is a Uruguayan international who can also play as a winger or central midfielder. 

Celtic’s priority is to sign a left-back before the transfer deadline.
