The Malta Football Association on Monday announced new dates to a number of fixtures that were forced to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the last few weeks, the local governing body of football was forced to postpone a number of matches due to an increasing number of COVID-19 cases in several match day squads across all divisions of Maltese football.
In the Premier League, Birkirkara, who are currently in the final stages of a mandatory quarantine, will be facing Tarxien Rainbows on Wednesday, December 2 at the Hibs Stadium, with kick-off time set at 7pm.
In the BOV National Amateur League, Marsaskala are facing busy schedule in December after all three matches that were postponed this month has now been rescheduled for nextx month.
In fact, Marsascala face Għargħur at the Sirens Stadium on December 9. The southseasiders are then pencilled to face Birżebbuġa St Peters on December 16 and Żurrieq on December 16, with both matches being played at the Tedesco Stadium.
All matches will kick off at 8.45pm.
In the women’s league, Birkirkara, who have also been hit by a number of COVID-19 cases and were sent to a mandatory quarantine, will face Mosta on December 12 while they take on Mtarfa on December 19.
Both matches will be played at the Centenary Stadium and kick off at 10am.
In the National Youth League Group C, the match between Kirkop United and Tarxien Rainbows has now been set for December 1 at the Żurrieq Ground, starting at 8.15pm.
