Argentine forward Imanol Iriberri is set for a second spell at Hibernians after the Paolites announced his return.
Iriberri, 33, had parted ways with the Paolites to join Ħamrun Spartans prior to the 2020/2021 campaign. However, the former Boavista player featured only five times for the Spartans with his last league appearance dates back to October 31, a 2-2 draw with Gżira United.
The Argentine player had joined Hibernians in the 2019/2020 season, where he had collected 19 appearances with 10 goals.
Hibernians were in search for a forward after Rundell Winchester left the club for Marsaxlokk, in the BOV Challenge League.
Led by Stefano Sanderra, the club is currently one of the teams battling for the title as they sit second on 29 points, two points distant from leaders Ħamrun.
