Former Malta striker Michael Mifsud will continue his star-studded career with Mosta FC, the Times of Malta can confirm.
Earlier, this month the 39-year-old striker parted ways with Premier League side Sirens due to personal reasons.
The 39-year-old striker had joined the St Paul’s Bay side this summer and was part of the squad that made their debut in European football when facing Bulgarian giants CSKA Sofia.
Mifsud had a number of options to choose from but finally decided that he will continue his career at Mosta FC where he is expected to an active role in the club’s academy.
No doubt, the signing of Mifsud, Malta’s all-time leading scorer, is a great coup for the Blues as they continue their chase for a place in European football this summer.
Mifsud is expected to be part of Mosta’s squad for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Birkirkara.
