Former Balzan forward Andrija Majdevac could not have dreamed of a better debut at Ethnikos Achna of Cyprus.
The Serbian striker came on in second half and scored a stoppage-time winner for his side to defeat Oympiakos Nicosia 2-1, after the latter had levelled terms six minutes from time.
Ethnikos announced the arrival of Majdevac on loan from AEL Limassol just yesterday.
They sit bottom of the table with 15 points after 21 games as they look to avoid relegation from the top-flight.
At the Limassol-based side, Majdevac struggled for playing time having featured only nine times, with two goals scored.
Majdevac, 23, played for Balzan between 2018 and 2020, where he scored 28 goals in 47 games. He also helped the Reds win the FA Trophy in the 2018/2019 season.
