Starlites BC are set to announce a new forward in Bryan Jefferson, sources have told the Times of Malta.
The 6’7 US player joins the Naxxar side after having two stints in Luxembourg and another in Australia.
The former University of Mary marauders forward, originally from Aurora Illinois, moved overseas in 2017 after his time in the NCAA Division Two to join Luxembourg side BBC AS Soleuvre.
He then joined the West Adelaide Bearcats in the Australian Premier League in 2019 before moving back to Luxembourg to play for Telstar Hesperange in the Nationale 2 Division.
Jefferson is said to have been in mandatory quarantine upon arrival and should be available for Starlites’ weekend game against Gzira Athleta.
