Johann Said, Matthew Carbone back in Floriana FC committee

Johann Said and Matthew Carbone co-opted in Floriana FC committee

Floriana FC announced that former club president Johann Said and Matthew Carbone have been co-opted in the Premier League club committee, the Greens said in a statement.

The Greens are looking to strengthen their administrative body following the departure of club president Riccardo Gaucci last October.

Said and Carbone are not new faces in the Floriana FC administration as the former had been at the helm of the club in the past while Carbone also formed part of the committee.

“Following various meetings that took place during recent days, the Floriana FC committee have co-opted Johann Said and Matthew Carbone as new Floriana FC committee members,” the club said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Floriana FC also announced that vice-president Peter Agius will not longer fill the role of team manager.

“In further developments, Floriana FC Vice President Peter Agius will not occupy the role of Team Manager with immediate effect,” the club statement said.

“The Floriana FC committee would like to thank Peter Agius for the great contribution offered throughout the years as he served the club as Team Manager. Peter Agius played a very important role in the club’s recent success in these past years.”
