Striker Bojan Kaljevic agrees terms with Balzan FC

Balzan FC have reached a verbal agreement to sign Montenegrin striker Bojan Kaljevic, the Times of Malta can confirm.

Last season, Kaljevic was on the books of Mosta FC but his contract expired at the end of the last campaign and the prolific forward was not retained by the Blues.

Balzan FC jumped on the chance to resign the Montenegrin forward and personal terms have now been agreed that will see the striker put pen to paper on a two-year contract.

At Balzan, Kaljevic will not only be involved in the first-team, under the charge of Mark Miller, but he is also expected to be involved to help the club’s young prospects in the academy.

For Kaljevic this is set to be his second spell at Balzan FC after he had joined the Reds in January 2015.

With Balzan he collected 93 appearances and scored 63 goals and provided 24 assists during his three-year spell.

Apart from Kaljevic, Balzan have agreed terms to hand contract extensions to winger Uros Ljubomirac, goalkeeper Vukasin Vranes and defender Augustine Loof.

Ljubomirac has been with Balzan for the past four seasons where he managed 101 appearances and netted 23 goals apart from providing 19 assists.

Vranes and Loof both joined Balzan last season and helped the club to stave off relegation.
