Challenge League side Marsa have bolstered their squad with the acquisition of goalkeeper Andrea Cassar.
Marsa’s new president Francesco Rugeri – who took over from Ramon Gusman – is looking to build a squad that can compete for a Premier League promotion having announced former top-flight title winning coach Enzo Potenza at the helm of the team, on Monday.
Cassar, represented by Sports Pro Management and Consultancy, has been recently on the books of Floriana where has under the guidance of Potenza. Previously, the 28-year-old goalkeeper had also played for Tarxien Rainbows and Ħamrun Spartans.
He joins the list of Marsa’s new arrivals including fellow former Premier League players in Siraj Arab, Godwin McKay and Andre Scicluna.
