Valletta have continued to strengthen their squad as they completed the transfer of Czech forward Milan Jurik.
Jurik, 29, is the latest player to join the Citizens after Toze Mendes’ side has already brought in Maltese players Christian Gauci and Michele Sansone alongside Alessandro Guarnone, Caio Prado and James Arthur.
The Czech forward joins from Floridsforder of Austria’s second tier, with whom he scored 12 goals in 42 games. In the second tier of Austrian football, Jurik has a good scoring record with 46 goals in 134 games.
He had also spells at Sparta Prague, with whom he made one appearance with the senior team and at WSG Tirol, where he played nine games in the Austrian Bundesliga as well.
