Swieqi United player Tammy Falzon is currently on trial at Sassuolo women’s youth team, the Times of Malta has learned.
Falzon, 16, travelled over to Italy where she will start her four-day trial at the Neroverde which will include a friendly over the weekend as well.
The Swieqi United defender made her first-team debut during the 2020/2021 Women’s League.
Assisted by Sports Pro Management and Consultancy, Falzon has also played with Swieqi at U-15’s and U-19’s level.
Sassuolo’s youth team will be playing in the Primavera – Girone 2 in the upcoming 2021/2022 season where they will face the likes of Roma – defending champions, and Empoli, Pomigliano and Napoli.
