Malta women’s U-19’s international Emma Ciantar Piccinino extended her scoring streak as she contributed with a goal in Sunderland Foundation of Light U-21’s 8-0 win over Burnley.
The game, played on Wednesday, was part of the National Football Youth League.
Ciantar Piccinino’s Sunderland are currently leading the table with 13 points, joined by Everton.
Their next commitment is a cup game against Northampton Town away from home.
The former Raiders Għargħur player is currently playing for both Sunderland FoL and Sunderland West End Ladies as the English FA allows dual registration between teams who are members of the FA and college teams.
While the FoL play their games during the week, West End Ladies are often involved during the weekend. In fact, they will be travelling to Ossett United in next weekend’s fixture in which the young Maltese Ciantar Piccinino will be involved.
