Emma Lipman and her Como Women side recorded a fantastic victory over Serie B leaders Pink Bari after winning 4-0, on Sunday afternoon.
This win has now propelled Lipman’s Como at the top of the Serie B standings with 17 points after eight fixtures.
They are followed by Brescia Calcio Femminile and Pink Bari on 16 points and Nicole Sciberras’ Tavagnacco and Chievo Verona with 15 points.
Lipman, who is the Malta women’s national team captain, was deployed from the start at the heart of the defensive line as she helped Como keep Pink Bari’s attacks at bay to claim the spoils in this highly-anticipated encounter.
