Kyrian Nwoko was deployed in the starting formation of St Patrick’s Athletic in their final Irish league game of the season against Waterford FC.
This was the second start for the Malta international forward after playing from the first minute against Dundalk, earlier in the season.
Against Waterford, Nwoko came close to score his first goal for St Patrick’s but his first-half effort sailed inches over the bar.
The former Valletta forward was subbed off on minute 70 as St Patrick’s and Waterford went on to finish the game in a goalless draw.
For Nwoko, this was his ninth appearance for the club in all competitions.
St Patrick’s finished their season in second place with 62 points in 36 games.
Next weekend, they will contend the Irish Cup as they face Bohemian in the final.
