Teddy Teuma and his Royal Union St. Gilloise side extended their lead at the top of the Belgium top-flight to seven points after their 0-0 draw against KAA Gent, on Sunday.
RUSG profited from Club Brugge’s surprising defeat against rivals Cercle Brugge to gain an extra point at the expense of their closest rivals in the championship.
Teuma’s side now lead with 47 points while Club Brugge remain on 40, both after playing 21 games.
