Maltese goalkeeper Rashed Al Tumi has parted ways with Serie D side Nocerina, the club announced on Friday.
Al Tumi swapped Arzachena Costa Smeralda with Nocerina ahead of the 2021/2022 Serie D season. With Nocerina, Al Tumi played three games in which he kept a clean sheet in two of them – a 0-0 vs Bisceglie on his debut and another 0-0 draw against Molfetta.
His departure comes in the light of Nocerina’s financial problems which has led to the exit of key players from the club.
According to Italian media, the Nocerina players refused to train two days ago after the club failed to pay their respective salaries.
This was Al Tumi’s fourth Italian club after his spells at Palermo, Casarano and Arzachena.
