Santa Lucia FC secured the services of young Dutch forward Meghon Davidy Valpoort, the Times of Malta can confirm.
The Premier League club have been looking to add more firepower to his forward line as they look to move away from the relegation places during the second part of the season.
Valpoort, who was born in the Netherlands but has also represented Curacao at international level, was attracted to the Premier League club by the presence of Jasper de Muijnck, who has just started in his role of sporting director at Santa Lucia FC.
The 21-year-old started his career in the youth ranks of Forum Sports before moving to Almere City where he played for the club in the Under 19 and Under 21 leagues.
Valpoort has already arrived in Malta where he has already started training with Oliver Spiteri’s squad.
The Dutch forward is now in line to make his debut for Sta Lucia FC when they face Gudja United on Wednesday.
