Maltese youth Alexandra Gatt was handed her starting debut for London Seaward in their home game against Billericay Town.
A tough meeting for London Seaward, who play in England’s fourth-tier, as they hosted the team sitting second and vying for promotion into the third-tier.
Gatt was deployed from the start as London Seaward were defeated 2-0. They remain sixth in the 13-team league on 19 points.
They face Cambridge City next, on February 6.
