Zach Muscat produced a wonderful assist as he set up Casa Pia’s first goal on their way to a famous 3-0 win over Porto B in the Portuguese’s second-tier, on Sunday afternoon.
This win has lifted Casa Pia joint-first with Benfica B and Feirense on 36 points as the first two teams are automatically promoted into the top-tier.
The Malta international defender started in their blueprint three-man backline as Muscat whipped a delightful a long ball from the back that bypassed Porto’s pressure and dropped onto the feet of Carnejy Antoine to put Casa Pia ahead.
Leandro Sanca and Lucas Soares followed with two more goals that handed Casa Pia the victory.
Casa Pia’s next league commitment will pit them against Penafiel.
