Maltese youth forward Kailey Willis opened her 2022 account with three goals for Hellas Verona’s youth team.
The former Birkirkara forward was part of the team that faced Sassari Torres in the Primavera – Girone 1 tie, played in Sardinia.
Hellas Verona claimed the spoils with a thumping 5-0 victory as Willis went on to find the net on three occasions.
The Malta U-19’s international, who has one cap with the senior team, has now scored 6 goals in 7 league games during the 2021/2022 campaign.
Since joining the team last season, Willis has now scored 8 goals in 13 appearances.
Hellas Verona sit fourth with 22 points after 9 games. They have a game in hand which could potentially lift them at the top of the championship alongside Inter.
