Driven by young driver Nicolas Bazire, French Davidson Du Pont won this year’s prestigious Grand Prix d’Amerique which was held on Sunday afternoon at the Vincennes Racetrack in Paris on a long distance of 2700m.
Eighteen horses took part in this race. Davidson Du Pont increased its speed in the final metres and won by a whisker from the early leader Galius (Yeoann Lebourgeois) and Flamme Du Goutier (Theo Duveldestin).
Italian Vivid Wise As (Matheu Abrivard) ended in fourth place.

This year the Amerique was run in front of only 5,000 spectators due to the measures which were taken in view of COVID19.
