Malta women internationals Nicole Sciberras and Martina Borg crossed paths in the Serie B Femminile as Tavagnacco hosted Roma Calcio Femminile, on Sunday.
Defender Sciberras was in the starting formation for Tavagnacco as she played a full game, keeping Roma CF’s attacks at bay.
On the other hand, Borg was inserted into the fray in the second half as she was making her first appearance since her injury back in November.
Tavagnacco remain fourth on 20 points while Roma CF are in the relegation red zone with just nine points to show for their efforts.
