A small delegation representing the Viola Club Malta – Fiorentina’s supporters group in Malta – met with Fiorentina’s General Manager Joe Barone in occasion of the Serie A fixture between Fiorentina and Hellas Verona, at the Artemio Franchi, last weekend.
During this meeting, Viola Club Malta’s honorary president Alexander Damato, together with the club’s PRO Marco Theuma, took the opportunity to speak about various topics including another visit from the Serie A club to Malta, current issues related to the Viola supporters and the Viola Park – an innovative and comprehensive centre which will be the home of the men’s and women’s team, together with the youth sector as well.
Fiorentina’s Barone, who has kept the Maltese flag to display in his office, told the Viola Club Malta delegates that he would be looking forward to visit on our shores.
In the meantime, the Viola Club Malta personnel also met with Bagno a Ripoli mayor, Francesco Casini, where they opened up about the advantages of the new Viola Park before they also held talks with Glorie Viola president – Moreno Roggi – as another visit to Malta from some of the Fiorentina legends is in the pipeline as well.
