A memorable Sunday afternoon for Maltese youth Kailey Willis who produced a hat-trick which propelled Hellas Verona U-19’s to a 4-1 win against Pro Sesto in the Italian women’s youth league.
Willis was part of the Malta U-19’s side that clinched a historic promotion to League A in the European qualifications during the April international window.
The former Birkirkara forward has now scored 12 goals in 13 league games in this campaign.
This is Willis’ second hat-trick this season after finding the net on three occasions against Sassari Torres, earlier in this campaign.
Willis sits fifth in the league’s scoring charts behind Juventus trio Nicole Arcangeli (16), Chiara Beccari (17) and Ginevra Moretti (20) and Milan’s Giulia Avallone who scored 18.
Hellas Verona sit fourth in the Primavera – Girone 1 standings with 38 points as they close in on a place in the Scudetto post-season play-offs.

On the other hand, Lipman featured for Como Women as they secured a narorw 1-0 win over Pro Sesto.
While Lipman’s Como trail leaders Brescia by seven points, Tavagnacco are nine points above the relegation zone.
