
Hibernians women’s team have started their transfer activity ahead of their return in the MFA Women’s League after bringing back Martina Borg.
Borg, who is a Malta international, will return to Hibernians for a second spell. She was at the Paolites before leaving for her first Italian experience at Apulia Trani.
During her five seasons in Italy, Borg featured for Sassari Torres in Serie C while she spent three seasons in Serie B with Apulia Trani, Fortitudo Mozzecane and Roma Calcio Femminile.
Borg played 91 matches and scored 15 goals in her five-year stay in Italy.
Hibernians also announced that Borg will be in charge of the U-17’s women’s team and will be also the Academy Sports Psychologist.
