
BOV Premier League side Żebbuġ Rangers have acquired the services of young goalkeeper Miguel Chetcuti.
Chetcuti, 21, joins Żebbuġ from Pieta Hotspurs with whom he played three games last season including in the FA Trophy.
Meanwhile, the club has also announced that they have retained goalkeeper Jamie Azzopardi and midfielder Ayrton Mizzi.
Azzopardi has played 19 games during the 2021/2022 domestic competitions. The 24-year-old is also a former Malta U-17’s international.
On the other hand, Mizzi also played an important part in Żebbuġ’s promotion last season with his 17 games in the Challenge League.
