Mġarr United women’s team have announced their third summer signing in Yulya Carella.
Carella is tipped as one of the most promising players in the local women’s game and is also part of the Malta U-19’s squad, playing 5 times in this category.
Last season, Carella played for San Ġwann after starting her playing career at Mosta. She scored three goals for San Ġwann during the previous 2021/2022 Malta FA Women’s League.
She follows Kathryn Ellul and Rebecca D’Agostino who have both joined the team coached by Michael Mangion.
Mġarr are set to launch the new campaign against San Ġwann on September 20.
