Rachel Cuschieri won the Maltese derby as Sampdoria Women scored 1-0 victory against Emma Lipman’s Como Women on Matchday 3 of the Serie A Femminile.
The last-gasp away victory ensures Sampdoria a perfect record after three straight wins in as many games played in the 2022/2023 season.
On the other hand, Como remain bottom of the standings as they are still looking for their first points of the season.
Cuschieri was a starter for Sampdoria as she played an hour before being replaced midway in the second half.
Lipman, on her part, was a second-half entry for Como Women.
