Zach Muscat was in the starting formation for SC Farense as they cancelled a two-goal deficit to beat B-SAD 3-2 away from home in the Portuguese second-tier.
The three points lifted SC Farense just one point behind leaders Moirerense on 18 points, but the latter have a game in hand.
Malta international Muscat played left central defender in a four-man backline to make his fourth appearance for his new club.
Last week, the former Casa Pia defender was also in the starting formation as he made his Portuguese Cup debut with SC Farense’s colours.
A 1-0 win against third-tier side Benfica Castelo Branco handed SC Farense qualification to the next round where they will face Imortal DC, away.
