
Malta international duo Zach Muscat and Joseph Mbong secured two important results with the club on Saturday.
Muscat was in the starting formation for SC Farense as they defeated Penafield 2-0 in Portugal’s second-tier.
They remain second with, seven points behind leaders Moreirense.
In Israel, Joseph Mbong was also in the starting formation as Ironi Kiryat rescued a late draw thanks to a goal two minutes from time in their 1-1 draw against Bnei Sakhnin.
Mbong played 82 minutes as he continues to establish himself as a key player for Israeli side.
Ironi Kiryat are currently 12th in the 14-team league with nine points.
