Liverpool and Pisa were the two high-profile guests that participated in the boys KHS U-10’s cup organised by Swieqi United.
The two-day tournament was held at the Victor Tedesco Stadium over this weekend with a number of local clubs taking part as well.
In fact, Swieqi United were also joined by Ħamrun Spartans, Pieta’ Hotspurs, Valletta, Balzan and San Ġwann.
A selection of boys from from Knowhowsoccer (KHS) was also invited to take part in this cup.
This is one of the many youth tournaments that Swieqi United, in collaboration with KHS, are expected to hold this season.
Italian giants Juventus will be one of the teams that will take part in next month’s U-13’s cup that will feature also Parma, Blackburn Rovers, Cardiff City and Znicz Pruszkow 2010A.
