Birkirkara have announced the stay of another foreign player after confirming Osvaldo Iorio’s extension, on Wednesday.
Iorio, 22, has been one of the key figures of Giovanni Tedesco’s side as he established himself as one of the most influential right backs in the top-flight.
Born in Uruguay, Iorio produced seven assists and managed to score seven goals as well including against Marsaxlokk in the FA Trophy final.
He played 29 matches for Birkirkara in all competitions.
