Malta international basketball player Tevin Falzon is set to continue his career in Italy after he agreed to join Pallacanestro Palestrina.
This will be Falzon’s first experience in Italian basketball where he will be playing in the Serie B championship next season.
“Palestrina Basketball club announces the signing for next season of Tevin Falzon, a Maltese international who was born in America,” the club said in a statement.
“Falzon is an all-round player who with his two-metre frame can cover the roles of both guard and wing thanks to his great mobility and excellent handling of the ball.
“Offensively complete, excellent in one-on-one situations and to serve his team-mates, Falzon is also very good when it comes to defend and has a great sense of positioning.”
The Malta international has played in the United States College championship with Sacred Heart University.
In 2017 he moved to Spain where he played for third division side Zornotza ST who he helped to reach the promotion final.
He then moved to the UK where he played for Phoenix Cheshire with whom he won the BBL Cup.
In 2019 he stayed in the UK where he played for Bristol Flyers.
At the start of this year, Falzon was on the books of Icelandic side Njarovik, one of the most successful teams in the country.
