Gżira United are currently giving a trial to three highly-rated players with a view of engaging their services during the January transfer window as they look to revive their season.
In fact, the Maroons are running the rule over Filip Mihaljevic. The 28-year-old Croatian striker has an eye-catching CV, having played with some first-tier teams in his country.
In fact, Mihaljevic has played for Dinamo Zagreb and Siroki Brijeg during his career amongst others.
Last season, he played in Poland with Widzew Lodz before he headed to Cambodia to don the colours against Visakha FC.
Mihajlevic has also represented Croatia at youth level having one cap for the U-20 side, five appearances with the U-19 selection as well as one match for the U-18 selection.
Another player on trial is Bahrudin Atajic, a former Bosnian international at U-21 level.
The 27-year-old has an eye-catching CV having had spells at high level with Swedish side Malmo and Scottish giants Celtic.
In the last few years, he played in Finland in Seinajoen as well as in Lithuania where he was on thebooks of Landskrona BolS.
The other player who is on trial at Gżira United is Salomon Asumu Obama Ondo. The 20-year-old Equatorial Guinea forward had spells in Spain with the ‘B’ teams of Atletico Madrid, Celta Vigo and Merida.
