Luxol Basketball Club announced two new signings in Marko Matijevic and Paul Attard from Hibernians Basketball Club on Monday in a summer that has seen Maltese clubs be particularly active in the transfer market.
Matijevic, who was part of the back in 2007, returns to the club from a Hibs side that finished third before the stoppage of the league in March. The centre who has also represented Malta in the Games of the Small States of Europe (GSSE), will be a strong addition to Luxol after their disappointing season.
Point guard Paul Attard was brought in to join both the seniors and the Under-23 squads. The young guard has also represented the island at Under-16 and Under-18 level.
