Malta women’s captain Emma Lipman played a full shift at the heart of Como Women’s backline in their 3-0 victory against Ravenna Women in the Serie B Femminile.
With this victory, Como Women are now just two points behind leaders Pink Bari whom they will face next weekend.
Como were at the back of a 2-2 draw against Cesena Femminile last Thursday and were looking to bounce back to winning ways.
A late first-half goal and two midway into the second 45 minutes wrapped up the three-goal victory for Como, securing their seventh win of this season’s Serie B Femminile campaign.
