Watch: Claudia Faniello opens up on her difficult childhood

Claudia Faniello spoke about the difficulties she experienced when she was young during this week’s edition of GAME ON hosted by Ben Camille.

The popular singer revealed that when she was young she decided to move out of her house and move in with her brother Fabrizio.

“I had to grow up very quickly,” Claudia Faniello said.

“Some experiences I went through when I was very young were very challenging. I decided to go and live with my brother at a very young age. I was only 13 years old and Fabrizio was at the top of his music career so I had to take care of myself even though I was still attending school.

“I took this decision because at home I was passing through a difficult time and I felt it was better for me to move away.

“It was that period that helped me grow up but I have to admit that it could have gone either way in terms of my formation. Looking back today, particularly as I work with children, I admit it was too early for me. I can’t imagine my students today taking the same step.”

During the show, Faniello and Camille went on to give their tips on who they think will prevail in this weekend’s hottest games.

Will Liverpool march on?

In the English Premier League, Liverpool will travel to Tottenham, provided the Londoners will have recovered enough players in their squad after contracting COVID-19.

Here, Faniello tipped Liverpool to win the match while Camille backed Tottenham Hotspurs.

Tottenham face an arduous task on Sunday as they not only are up against one of the most-inform sides in the Premier League but added to that they have not been in action for almost ten days after a cluster of COVID-19 cases at the club.

Liverpool will be hopeful to maintain their impressive run of form which has seen them win all of their last five league matches to remain just one point behind leaders Manchester City.

In midweek, Liverpool warmed up for this clash in style when they came from behind to beat Newcastle United 3-1 at Anfield.

Will Milan and Napoli keep up with Inter?

In the Italian Serie A, Milan host Napoli at the San Siro and here Faniello tipped the visitors to win the match while Camille tipped the home side for victory.

This is a clash that both teams will be desperate to win as they look to keep the pace with leaders Inter.

Stefano Pioli’s Milan have picked up eight points from six games and Napoli five in the same time.

Milan have only won one of their last 13 Serie A games against Napoli. The last time Milan won at home against Napoli in Serie A was in December 2014.

Both teams come into the match on the back of disappointing results as Milan were held by Udinese last weekend while Napoli suffered an unexpected home defeat to Empoli.

Birkirkara vs Ħamrun Spartans called off due to COVID-19

The other match was due to be between Ħamrun Spartans and Birkirkara with Faniello opting against giving any prediction while Camille tipped Birkirkara to bag the three points.

However, this match has been postponed by the Malta FA after a spread of COVID-19 cases in the Birkirkara FC ranks.
