Swieqi United women’s team completed their winter transfer market activity with the acquisition of Venezuelan player Rafanny Mendoza.
Mendoza, 25, is a central defender who was recently playing in her native country at Atletico SC after a spell at Estudiantes de Caracas.
The Venezuelan player will bring plenty of experience at the Maltese club having also former part of the Venezuela U-20’s side that participated in the 2016 U-20 Women’s World Cup.
During that tournament, Venezuela faced Germany, South Korea and Mexico in the group phase.
