Newly-promoted side Marsaxlokk continued to strengthen their squad after announcing the signature of midfielder Conor Borg.
Borg becomes Marsaxlokk’s third signing after the club led by Pablo Doffo has already brought in wingback Leandro Aguirre and winger Ryan Tonna.
A product of Floriana with whom he made his senior debut back in 2014, Borg played with the Greens, Ħamrun Spartans and Sirens in the Maltese top-flight for a total of 70 appearances.
Borg was also part of the Roma U-19’s Primavera side between 2015 and 2017. At international level, he represented Malta at youth levels including in the 2014 U-17’s European Championships.
